The importance of Regular Football Pitch Surface Maintenance

Football pitches at some of the top stadiums are often cut up to 3 times per week. All that cutting requires a lot of equipment tracking grass on and off the pitch onto other surfaces. If the material is left there to accumulate it will decompose and get trapped into the pile of the artificial surface often surrounding the pitch. This will result in moss and other weeds growing on the surface, which makes it both slippery and unsightly.

It is therefore important to deal with this material some how.

Many Clubs are turning to Kersten to keep the artificial grass strip around the edge of the pitch free of detritus.

The K1500 power unit and sweeper will lift and collect the offending material from the surface, and can also be used to keep hard standing such as tarmac or concrete free of detritus as well.
